Glow Packet Pick Up
Glow Location & Time
Travis and Angela are currently pursuing domestic adoption. We have always dreamed of growing our family and having children and have not been successful conceiving. We have been married for almost 11 years. Travis works at Kearney Public Schools at Bryant Elementary as a paraprofessional in a behavioral room. He has worked there for over 14 years. Angela works at Eaton as a Quality Supervisor. She has worked there for over 15 years. Together we DJ for Quad Sound DJ Service and have done that for over 14 years together. It is so much fun celebrating with people on one of the best days of their lives. Travis and Angela share the same birthday – same day and same year. We are excited to be a part of Compass and the Glow Run and are very grateful for this opportunity. We trust in God’s perfect plan and timing.
“We’re the Maschemeiers! Seth works in the medical field and Karah is a piano teacher. Kearney is our home and we love that our family is close by. God called us to adoption almost 2 years ago, but things moved slowly. We waited for the Lord to lead us and ultimately, he very clearly led us to our agency in St. Louis. Not a week after we submitted our application, we had a match, and within weeks, we were heading to St. Louis to get our precious daughter, Mercedes “Sadie" Faith. Sadie is almost 6 months old, but a tiny peanut, fitting nicely in size newborn clothes :). Adoption has been one of the most gut wrenching, yet easily the most beautiful things we’ve ever experienced."
The Mosley family currently has five members. Paul works for the City of Minden, Michelle has taught Life skills for Kearney public schools for the past 16. The oldest daughter, Kersten, is currently enrolled in her third year at Grace University. Kelsee graduated from high school in May and is currently enrolled at Xenon Cosmetology academy in Grand Island. They are hoping their youngest daughter, Lucy Wu, will join their family sometime this winter. We believe that everyone deserves love and a place to call home. We are willing and able to provide this for another child. We choose to love and rescue another sweet life. We choose to be obedient. We choose to empower another heart with love and hope. We choose this sweet baby girl. Please help us make our choice a reality. Please feel the hope and dreams that give flight to a wounded soul. We are humbly asking for your whole hearted support in this journey, please join us!
Our sweetest Artem is currently not allowed to join his family. He is still living in Russia in an orphanage.
Josh and Rachel Weinberg and their daughter Adriana live just north of Kearney in Riverdale. Josh works at Kearney Moving Service and Rachel stays home and teaches private violin lessons. They both have hearts that beat heavy for the fatherless and in March of 2013 they began the process to adopt from Ethiopia. They are hopeful to be traveling to get the child God has for their family within the next year.
