Helping Children and Families Navigate Life

Grace Bonsall

Foster Care Specialist

About Me:

When Grace was a child, she loved spending time outdoors, looking for a fun craft or project to work on, or spending time at the pool with her friends. One of her favorite memories was attending track and cross country meets with her dad! Grace’s family includes or parents, three younger sisters, two older brothers and her two cats, Patches and Cookie.

Grace was homeschooled until 5th grade then transitioned into Kearney Public Schools. After graduating high school, she enrolled at The University of Nebraska at Kearney and is on track to graduating in a year or so. Grace is majoring in Social Work with a minor in Health Science and Behavior and Mental Health.

She joined our team as she loves working with kids and is passionate about empowering families. Grace shared, “I saw a need and knew that I wanted to be apart of the solution. I feel this is a particular area where God has called me to on mission.” Grace is excited to use her life to help other people. She believes, “God created each and every person intentionally and with purpose. I want to help others find that purpose as a completely known and overwhelming loved child of God.”

When Grace isn’t walking alongside the families she’s serving, you can find her outside “to enjoy God’s incredible creation!” She’s always going somewhere, whether she’s running, hiking, or rollerblading, she’s enjoying the journey! Grace also enjoys art, especially painting outdoor landscapes. In her free time, she’s usually going of fun adventures with her friends and family anywhere from coffee shops to the lake.
