Helping Children and Families Navigate Life

Latesha Roth

About Me:

Even when Latesha was a child, she was always helping others and putting them before herself. She is passionate about helping others, especially those she does not know. She desires to make sure that everyone is always taken care of and not in need. “It’s a good feeling to know that you’re helping kids in need.” This passion is what led Latesha to work in foster care.

Latesha holds an associate degree in Human Services and a Bachelor’s degree in child and family welfare. Previously she worked for the Department of Health and Human Services where she assisted with investigations of child abuse and neglect, even working alongside police officers to remove children from unsafe situations. In the past Latesha has conducted supervised visitation as well. For Latesha, the goal of the foster care intervention in a family’s life is reunification when it is safe and appropriate.

Latesha is married to Daniel and together they have four children: Elysia, Jayden, Ryker and Rylan. They also have a dog named Apollo. Latesha enjoys playing volleyball and coed softball. Most of all she enjoys being a mom and watching her children in the things they choose to participate in.
