Lauren Geiger

Lauren’s childhood was filled with softball, hunting with her dad, and spending time with her grandparents. These are still some of her favorite things to do, but she also loves golfing, upcycling furniture, working out, movies and music. Lauren is passionate about serving others and sharing the Lord’s love. 

Lauren’s family includes her fiance, Mason, and their sweet pup, Lady. However, she also feels blessed with the many friends and families who have accepted her into their homes as a member of their own family. 

Lauren knew from a young age that she wanted to help vulnerable families. This led her to the University of Nebraska at Kearney where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies with a minor in Educational Studies. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree to become a clinical mental health counselor. 

Lauren has worn many hats while working at Compass. From Intern, to Family Specialist, Foster Care Specialist, and Church Engagement Lead, to now being in the roles of Community Engagement Lead where she engages the community in child welfare and overseeing the implementation of CarePortal. Lauren is also the Family Services Team Lead, overseeing staff and helping them serve their clients well.
