The 2030 BEYOND vision is lofty, defying the realm
of possibility.
President John F. Kennedy’s vision in 1961 to send a man to the moon within ten years seemed truly impossible. The Apollo missions of the 60s called forth imagery of bygone heroes from the previous wars and fastened our gaze on the heavens. They inspired hope as we fixated on the purity of the undefiled celestial bodies surrounding our polluted and sin-riddled earth.
In a similar way, the BEYOND vision beckons heroes who will dare to venture into territories unknown. Heroes who long to capture the starry heavens in a whimsical jar of joy to delight the children who believe happiness only exists in dreams and fairytales.
Decades ago, America put a man on the moon. Perhaps now is the time to invest in bringing the delights of heaven to earth by underwriting happy childhoods.
Whether you know it or not, you are directly or indirectly affected by the social services system. For that reason, you are vital to the success of children and families living in your community. Whether you are called to be a foster parent or share your time or resources, you are creating a successful launchpad for children to find happiness within reach.
