Jordan Sorensen

Program & Administrative Supervisor

Jordan hopes that the people he interacts with walk away feeling a little more joy than they had before. He believes that encouragement, positivity, and genuine connection can make a meaningful difference in someone's day, and he strives to bring that spirit into every interaction.

What drew Jordan to Compass was simple: the people. He was inspired by the passion, dedication, and heart of the team and knew he wanted to be part of an organization that values both serving others and supporting one another.

Jordan brings a strong educational background to his work, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Education. His experience has equipped him with a unique blend of leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills that help him serve families and communities effectively.

At the heart of Jordan's work is a passion for families. He believes strong families are the foundation of thriving communities and is committed to supporting and encouraging families as they navigate life's challenges and celebrate its successes.

Outside of Compass, Jordan's greatest joy is spending time with his favorite people - his family. Whether they're traveling, sharing meals, attending activities, or simply spending time together, he believes that what matters most is being together. Those relationships are a constant source of joy, purpose, and perspective in his life.

One of Jordan's favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 17:22: *"A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."* This verse reflects his outlook on life and serves as a reminder of the healing power of joy, encouragement, and hope. He believes that joy is not only a gift to experience but also something we can share with others through the way we live and serve.

Through his positive spirit, love for families, and commitment to serving others, Jordan seeks to bring joy, encouragement, and hope to everyone he meets.
