Kaylee hopes that everyone she interacts with feels heard, valued, and supported. She strives to create a safe and welcoming environment where children, families, and individuals feel comfortable being themselves and know they do not have to face life's challenges alone. Building trust and meaningful relationships is at the heart of her work, and she is passionate about helping others feel encouraged and empowered.
Kaylee was drawn to Compass because of its commitment to serving children and families through a combination of faith, compassion, and professional support. She appreciates the organization's mission of strengthening families and creating lasting positive change within the community, and she values the opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to making a difference.
Kaylee earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Grand Canyon University. Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, and families through family support services, supervised visitation, mentoring, and counseling internship opportunities. These experiences have strengthened her ability to support individuals through challenges while helping them recognize their strengths and potential.
One of Kaylee's greatest passions is helping children and families build stronger relationships, overcome obstacles, and grow together. She believes every person deserves encouragement, support, and opportunities to thrive. Walking alongside others as they navigate difficult seasons and celebrate successes is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.
Outside of Compass, Kaylee enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, fishing, being outdoors, and caring for her pets. She also values opportunities for personal and professional growth and enjoys continuing to learn and develop new skills.
One of Kaylee's favorite Bible verses is Joshua 1:9: *"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."* This verse serves as a reminder that God is present through every challenge, transition, and season of life. It encourages her to trust Him, move forward with faith, and offer the same hope and encouragement to others that she has found in Christ.
Through her compassion, dedication, and commitment to helping others recognize their strengths, Kaylee is passionate about supporting children and families as they build resilience, discover hope, and create brighter futures.
