Maddie Ford
Foster Care & Licensing Specialist
Maddie hopes people feel heard, cared for, and respected when they interact with her. She values taking the time to listen well, understand what others are going through, and remind people that their thoughts, feelings, and experiences matter.
Maddie was drawn back to Compass after previously serving as a Family Specialist for a year and a half. She appreciates the welcoming, caring environment at Compass and especially enjoys supporting families and youth. She brings a background in criminal justice, with an associate degree from Central Community College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Her experience also includes mentoring youth at the YRTC, working in foster care, and serving with DHHS in Medicaid eligibility.
Outside of Compass, Maddie enjoys spending time with her family and fiancé, reading, diamond painting, cooking, traveling, and relaxing with her cat, Sully, and dog, Bugsie. She is passionate about helping others feel loved, seen, and supported through every season of life.
One of Maddie’s favorite Bible verses is Ephesians 2:8 because it reminds her that God’s grace is a gift and encourages her to trust that He is with her through every season.
