Rachel’s passion for helping children and families has been the driving force behind her career. She was drawn to Compass because it combines two things that matter deeply to her: serving children and families and sharing the love of Christ through her work. For Rachel, supporting others while living out her faith is both a calling and a privilege.

Rachel brings a wealth of experience and leadership to her role. Before joining Compass, she owned a daycare and served as a Children and Family Specialist with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Since coming to Compass, she has served in several roles, including Family Specialist, Field Adviser, Foster Care Specialist, and Foster Care Lead. Her professional experience is complemented by a strong educational background, including a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, a Master’s Degree in Business, and ongoing doctoral studies in Human Capital Management.

Throughout her career, Rachel has remained committed to one central mission: helping children and families grow, heal, and find hope. She is passionate about walking alongside others during difficult seasons and helping create opportunities for lasting positive change.

When she’s not working, Rachel treasures spending time with her family, including her son, daughter-in-law, daughter, and granddaughter. Family is one of her greatest joys and an important source of strength and encouragement in her life.

One of Rachel’s favorite Bible verses is Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God.” This verse serves as a reminder to trust in God’s plan, rest in His promises, and have confidence that His will is being accomplished even when the path ahead is unclear.

With a heart for service, a commitment to lifelong learning, and a deep faith in God’s guidance, Rachel is dedicated to helping children and families build brighter futures.
