Ryan Stanton

Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer

Ryan believes that one of the greatest gifts you can offer another person is simply making them feel seen and heard. Whether he's supporting families, encouraging coworkers, or building relationships within the community, he strives to create meaningful connections that leave people feeling valued and understood.

Ryan was drawn to Compass because he saw a need he couldn't ignore. With too many children in foster care and not enough families available to care for them, he felt called to be part of a mission that could make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. That commitment continues to fuel his passion for the work today.

With a background in Leadership and Organizational Management and extensive experience in child welfare, Ryan brings both professional expertise and a heart for service to his role. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on strengthening systems of care, supporting families, and creating opportunities for children to thrive.

Outside of Compass, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, who keep life busy and fun. Whether he's cheering from the sidelines at a soccer game, watching basketball, or attending a concert, some of his favorite moments are spent making memories with the people he loves most.

At the center of Ryan's life is his faith in Jesus Christ. He is passionate about serving the Lord, investing in his family, and helping others flourish in their own lives and ministries. He finds great joy in encouraging coworkers, friends, and community members to grow in their strengths so they can, in turn, impact the lives of others.

One of Ryan's favorite Scripture passages is Isaiah 43:1-3, which reminds believers that God created them, loves them, and calls them by name. The passage speaks to God's faithfulness during life's challenges and serves as a powerful reminder that while difficulties are inevitable, we never face them alone. Ryan finds comfort and strength in God's promise to walk alongside His people through every season of life.
