Alisa Ryan

Alisa grew up in a small town in southwest Nebraska as the oldest of three girls. Although she grew up with sisters, God decided she needed to be a boy mom and blessed her with four! Alisa also has a foster daughter. 

Alisa’s passion for helping others led her to receive her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Community Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She had always planned to be a therapist, but she was introduced to foster care when she was offered a job with an agency overseeing their Treatment Foster Care program. She loved working with the kids and families and seeing the progress the kids made while in their foster homes. Alisa has been with Compass since 2015, serving as the Director of Foster Care and Adoption. 

When Alisa is not working or chasing her children, she enjoys refurbishing furniture, DIY projects, traveling, baking and shopping.
