Helping Children and Families Navigate Life

Jordan Sorensen

PROGRAM AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR

About Me:

Jordan’s passion for families is a thread woven throughout her life, beginning with her earliest childhood memories. She fondly remembers when their entire family gathered together to have dinner at her grandparents’ house every Thursday evening. The tradition continues today! They’ve added spouses and a boat load of kids to their Thursday night tradition, and she cherishes this time with family.

Most of Jordan’s time is spent with her family. She works full time while also homeschooling her children. Jordan and her husband Eric have four kiddos, two cats and their dog, Tilly. Their family loves to do all things outdoors, spending as much time as possible adventuring together. They also love legos and board games.

Jordan’s passion for family and understanding of how important they are led her to Compass. She wanted to be a part of an organization surrounded by inspiring people all working towards bettering the lives of families and children in our community.

Jordan has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a Nebraska Teaching Certificate and Master’s in Secondary Education with an Emphasis in Instruction and Curriculum from Concordia University. She has been working with Compass since 2013. Currently her role is to assist in administrative tasks and making sure everyone gets paid!
