Helping Children and Families Navigate Life

Livie Fernandez

Foster Care Specialist

About Me:

When Livie was a kid, she spent most of her time building forts with her brothers on their family’s ranch. After graduating from Holdrege High School, she attended Central Community College and received her Associate’s in Criminal Justice. She is currently attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is pursuing her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice with a double minor in public law and psychology. She also volunteers with CASA as a child advocate.

Livie entered the foster care/family services field because she is enthusiastic about helping others and cheerleading their success in areas that once challenged them. She is passionate about personal growth and fostering genuine, relational connections.

Livie’s family includes her parents, Oscar and Sidaine and her siblings, Josue, Imanol and Karina. In her free time, she loves traveling to the mountains, taking pictures, cooking and reading a good book!
