Nate Deida

When adults would ask Nate, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” he had two answers: a police officer and a therapist. Eventually, he found his calling with a career in foster care and family services. He loves working with children and families and getting to know people through their stories.

Nate earned his Bachelor’s in Family Studies with a minor in elementary education. As an intensive family specialist at Compass, Nate supports families and children working through difficult and traumatic experiences, with the goal of restoring positive, healthy relationships. 

Nate’s family includes three sisters, one brother and lots of nieces and nephews. In his free time, Nate enjoys watching Netflix, golfing and playing board games with his family. His other hobbies include online investing, house shopping and anime.
