Abby Christensen

When Abby was a kid, her favorite activities were playing with Polly Pockets and jumping on the trampoline. Her interest in the foster care/family services field was sparked by her experience working at a summer camp and listening to the difficult life stories of some of her campers. Her desire to help children connect with loving, stable families eventually led her to Compass.

Abby received her BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in addition to two Associate’s degrees from Mid-Plains Community College. Her family includes her husband Kaleb, daughter Phoebe and their dog, Blue. She enjoys reading, walls and playing volleyball.
