About Me:

As a child, Britta spent lots of time outside, swimming, camping and riding bikes with her friends. As an adult, her hobbies include exercising, reading books, listening to podcasts and finding good tv series to watch. She also loves to spend all the time she can with her nieces and nephews.

Britta’s family includes her fiance and puppy. She feels very fortunate to have a close relationship with her family, which also includes her mom, dad, three brothers, nieces and nephews.

She received her bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She then went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with my masters in social work. She has lots of experience with kiddos, all through her undergrad college career, she was a daycare teacher. She also did her undergrad internship at DHHS in Kearney as a Child and Family Specialist. After graduating with her bachelor’s, she accepted a job at Elkhorn Public Schools as an Early Intervention Services Coordinator. She worked with kids aging from newborns to three years old as well as their families. Her most recent experience before Compass was an internship as a therapist for CHI’s Adult Partial Hospitalization Program in Omaha, NE.
