Cortney Newton

Cortney moved around a lot as a child, she and her family lived in several different states! Her family today includes her three biological kids, Lucas (15), Chase (13), Avery (11) and their two dogs, Lila and Maddie, two horses, Forrest and Jenny, and one hamster named Stewart. Cortney is also a foster parent and welcomes children in foster care to join her family.

Cortney has a background in human services and substance use counseling. She holds degrees in Human Services, Drug and Alcohol Counseling and Behavioral Science. Her passion is to help families which is why she chose to join the Compass team.

When Cortney isn’t spending time with her family or supporting foster families in her work, she enjoys riding horses, baking and crafting.
