Helping Children and Families Navigate Life

Keesha McQuay

INTENSIVE FAMILY SPECIALIST

About Me:

Keesha’s dream as a kid was to be a paleontologist! She was obsessed with collecting rocks and fossils and happily supplied her family with enough treasures to build their rock garden.

Keesha’s empathy for others and her desire to help drew her to a career in family services. She earned her degree in social work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and worked as a volunteer with Royal Family Kids Camp. Keesha has also completed trainings through Empowered to Connect, Circle of Security, Compassion Fatigue, ONE Conference, Conference on Aging and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). She strives to be a life-long learner and finds almost any area of study fascinating. She is passionate about personal growth and finds joy in helping others grow as well.

Keesha believes in a broad, inclusive view on family, which means the more the merrier! Parents, step-parents, siblings, step-siblings, roommates, friends, coworkers and her cat – all family! In her free time, Keesha enjoys poetry, painting, reading, audiobooks, video games, collecting plants and cleaning.
