Keytan Lemburg

When Keytan was a child, he spent lots of his time with his family, playing baseball, swimming and going on adventures with his friends. Keytan believes that “life through the eyes of a child is one of curiosity and exploration,” and tries to retain the same outlook on life everyday as an adult.

Keytan’s family includes his parents who he cherish’s deeply. As well as his sister, Kelsey, and her fiance, Cliff, who reside in North Carolina, and his brother, Johnathan, who lives in Lincoln. Keytan is very proud of his family and all that they’ve done together and is excited for future adventures with them!

Starting in middle school, Keytan began his experience of working with children ages 2-18 in several capacities. Such as: Sunday school, summer camps, youth groups, and many others. Keytan feels that it has been a pleasure to see the growth of the youth he’s served. After graduating from Central Community College with an associates degree in business, he felt led to attend Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Texas. Keytan began studying media, however, he discovered a change in his heart and shifted his focus to ministry and church leadership and eventually graduated with his bachelors degree.

With Keytan’s experience of working with youth, mostly ministry related, he felt called to join the Compass team as a Family Specialist. Keytan is a big fan of our mission and loves that Compass draws near a sensitive and difficult field by approaching it with a compassionate and faith-centered focus. His passion lies within ministry and people. Since graduating, he has spent time in solitude; growing personally and developing a desire to see others be helped. At the Lord’s direction, he is excited to continue helping people in whatever capacity he can and to help lead them. He is eager to begin working in a church setting and expand his own emotional borders.

In Keytan’s spare time, he enjoys weight lifting, basketball, video games and exploring nature. His favorite time of year is during the spring and summer, as it gives him an opportunity to enjoy some of the outdoor activities that he loves.
