Lauren Bowman

Lauren joined our Foster Care Team as she has always wanted a job where she could directly contribute to society, and positively impact peoples lives. She shares, “Working with children and parents alike while being able to share with them the many different elements about my faith gets me more excited than anything.” Lauren hopes to witness healing and reconciliation within families. She is also “crazy passionate” about mental health and the affects which it has on people, as well as her faith and the role which it plays in her life. Lauren’s UNL degree in Psychology has helped equip her in her role at Compass.

When she was a kid, she loved to explore her backyard and climb in her willow tree. As an adult, she enjoys redoing old furniture to sell, buying antiques. As well as doing photography and sewing on the side.

Fun fact, Lauren and her husband Jake collectively have almost over 60 relatives that live near them in Lincoln (including Emmy, the dog they rescued)!
